Greenstar’s Control4 certified showroom brings together a total X4 home experience from lighting and blind control to security, music, HVAC control, and fitted entertainment room solutions as a blueprint for holistic design for architectural homes and home automation projects.
As part of our ongoing home automation advisory to the building industry, homeowners, architects and interior designers; this Greenstar Control4 X4 Launch will canvas how Control4 X4 can be incorporated into any best practice, home automation design Melbourne project. And for existing Control4 homes, elevating the experience with these new innovations.

As a sneak preview, what can Control4 users expect in the latest Control4 X4 innovations?
The big push in X4 is to elevate lifestyle experiences with more flexibly to self-manage personalisation.
Control4 experience buttons for example can allow multi-function service control in a more intuitive way.
The optimised X4 user interface can provide more flexibility with one-touch buttons for multiple services. Think of it as a new way to put multiple actions front and centre on the main home page for the room. Perhaps from the Kitchen, a ‘Let’s Entertain’ button that activates comfort lighting through all the common areas, pool terrace and front garden for guest arrival, with motorised blinds open to view the fully lit pool, and all in tandem with activation of a favourite music playlist to set the mood. And all by just one button press!
With X4, Control4 widgets give you more personalisation flexibility to provide quick access to those functions you use all the time on your touchscreen or app. It could be a favourite ‘live camera preview’, a quick-action ‘security function’, or perhaps a favoured ‘cosy’ TV lighting scene for a Living Room.
You have on-screen flexibility to size, arrange and swap the layout as your preferences change over time. With real time status, you can have the peace of mind knowing if a gate is closed, or a live camera feed for that quick glance review of a delivery drop-off. These are just some examples of this new X4 enhancement.
Control4 routines are a new feature with X4 too. They allow you to automate actions around your living patterns in the home. It could be self-managed scheduling for water features, heated towel rails, bathroom electric floor heating, or outdoor lighting for examples.
