Clipsal Cbus has been the product of choice in the Australian market since 2001, mainly because it was owned by Clipsal the iconic electrical brand in Australia.Clipsal C-bus started the era of lighting control systems in Melbourne, Australia. Larger homes built in the late 90’s and 2000 had this system. The product is a very robust system used in large commercial projects to light hospitals and universities throughout Australia.

The main purpose of C-bus is to have a central location to control the whole homes lighting and blinds. This was generally done through a centralised touch screen. Through the toolkit software the programmers were able to program any switch to turn on any light or scene. Scenes in Lighting control is the ability to be able to create a feel to a home, turning on lights at different levels to create lovely mood lighting throughout a home.

Generally, C-bus was a part of an Integrated home automation system incorporating security and lighting. Some after market products like E-life, Multimedia dynamics, Home Touch Systems, and Clipsal Homegate all ran on a shuttle windows based PC. Other solutions like Push Controls and Leviton also gave the home owner a touch screen controls generally in the early 2000’s.

SATURN ZEN

The C-Bus Saturn Zen wall switches are sleek and subtle in design to suit modern interiors. Choose from black or white matte finishes and flat or concave buttons. Available in one to four button configurations, the Saturn Zen wall switches can operate your lights and other smart home devices and scenes with a simple button tap. Easily know what device or scene is activated with blue or orange LED indicators.

SATURN

The C-Bus Saturn wall switches are found in the most exclusive interiors. They feature a transparent glass fascia, round silver push buttons with LED indicators, and an array of high-end finishes. Colors like pure white, ocean mist, cream and espresso black complement any style. Choose from two, four or six-gang configurations and program buttons with functions like on/off, dim, scene control and more. EDLT

As the world’s most advanced wall switch, the C-Bus enhanced Dynamic Labeling Technology (eDLT) keypad supports several languages, controls up to 16 devices and comes in several beautiful styles and finishes. It also includes a backlit color LCD screen, status feedback and proximity sensing. REFLECTION

It comes in two, four and eight-gang toggle configurations and can be constructed with custom surrounds to match your walls and home décor. DIMMER

The C-Bus DIN Rail Series Dimmers can control incandescent and low voltage lighting and feature C-Bus Learn Mode, which allows for unit programming without a computer. C-Bus offers two non-universal dimmers that support four-channel or eight-channel leading edge dimming control and one universal dimmer that supports four-channel leading edge and trailing edge dimming.

BLIND/SHUTTER CONTROL

C-Bus Blind/Shutter Motor Control relay units directly drive the motors for your Motorised blinds, curtains, shutters, awnings and other soft furnishing components. Whether installed in the switchboard or in the optional DIN rail mount enclosure, this dedicated blind and shutter relay controller makes it easy for anyone to open and close window treatments.
