Drop down ‘TV reveals’ allow the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining floorplan design to create a more interconnected and social space while establishing the central low-set, glass encased flame effect fireplace to anchor the floorplan. For TV viewing, two TVs are descend centrally above the low fireplace covering all open plan viewing orientations to solve the interior design, then retract away when not needed.
Expanding on ‘TV reveals’, the master bedroom likewise benefits from a drop-down TV too, allowing floor-to-ceiling windows to open out to a private courtyard without an awkward TV placement interrupting the space. And in this project, every TV reveal drops to an ergonomic viewing height from the ceilings without compromising the viewer comfort.

This penthouse has its own bespoke automated cinema. It starts with just one remote to control the cinema effortlessly for everyone, with the convenience of adaptive lighting, blinds, SmartGlass and heating and cooling, then all the hidden cinema technology for a total room solution.
A motorized masking-screen presents all the types of content perfectly, just like in a commercial cinema to enhance colour and contrast perception. Automated black masking perfectly surrounds each image to best showcase all content aspect ratio types, from widescreen cinemascope movies to blockbuster steaming productions, world movies and standard TV broadcasts.
The microperforated screen allows concealment of the main speakers behind the image for perfectly localised sound out of the action across the screen – just like at a gold class cinema. Then fitted and highly optimised Dolby Atmos surround sound is intimately focused to the audience throughout the room, optimized further with acoustic treatments for incredible clarity and enhanced sound effect emersion. Overhead speaker effects are concealed behind acoustic transparent fabrics for a clean ceiling look.
